The management interface gives administrator-level users full control over every area of the Imagen platform. Here you can manage your users, monitor jobs, check storage levels, customise pages, set access permissions, set up e-commerce shopping baskets, review user analytics and much more.
Now updated with a cool ‘dark’ new style and optimised layouts, Imagen’s administrative interface helps media managers to streamline common tasks and manage their content libraries more efficiently. We’ve even included bookmarks so you can easily jump to the tools or controls you use the most.
Rights management tools and shopping basket
License your content online
Licensing content can often be a complex, time consuming task for rights holders. Imagen's new shopping basket is an optional module which simplifies this process and delivers a convenient e-commerce experience.
Perfect for end-user clients wishing to license content for use in broadcast, advertising campaigns, documentaries, TV productions or newsrooms.
Create your Media Rights Sets
Imagen automates the licensing process and calculates price via customisable Media Rights Sets.
You can set up your own Media Rights Sets and create a framework of licensing options for your clients to choose from.
Clients create a license
Your clients can step through a series of options from your Media Rights Sets to create the licensing terms they need.
Multiple language translations for the options can be added and are automatically displayed according to the users’ language preferences set in their browser.
License value calculated in real time
Imagen calculates the final price of the license based on the options selected. Users can add multiple items to a basket and create and separate license for each item – or apply a single license to all. Users can also select the delivery format for download at checkout.
Secure e-commerce payments
Once rights have been established, users checkout through a secure e-commerce shopping basket using their credit card, Apple Pay or GPay.
Receipts and license summaries are also sent via email to the licensee. Imagen takes care of VAT calculations and provides full reports of all transactions in the system management interface.
Thumbnail previews
As content management specialists, we know that helping your users find the content they need in the shortest possible time is crucial to maximising the return in the investment in your video management platform through time-saving efficiencies.
Imagen’s powerful search and filter controls already deliver relevant results in seconds. Our new thumbnail previews now give you another level of detail in the search results grid. Simply skim over the search result thumbnails to see a short preview of the videos available to locate the perfect clip in your shortlist without having to watch individual videos.

Duration and Colour Filters
Imagen gives you a range of customisable filter and sort controls to help you narrow search results down to the most relevant range of content available. You can already use date ranges, keywords, categories and much more to find the perfect video, image, document or audio files in just a few clicks.
In January 2020 we’ve introduce two more powerful filters to connect you with the content you need more quickly. Refine your image searches with our new Colour Filter to find pictures in a specific colour palette. For time based media you can now locate video or audio of a specific length with our Duration Filter.
Image editing tools
Simple, powerful, convenient
Imagen's handy editing tools enable users to manipulate images in their browser. No need for expensive third-party software to carry out simple image editing tasks.
Intuitive, easy to use controls mean anyone can download an edited image in seconds.
Image cropping
Drag the corners of the marquee to create a quick image crop. Lock the selection to a range of common aspect ratios.
Image resizing
Enter values for width and height to resize the image when downloaded. Lock to maintain common aspect ratios if desired.
Rotate, flip or mirror
Rotate the image by an arbitrary number of degrees, or by 90-degree increments. Flip the image vertically or mirror the image horizontally.
Choice of output formats
When your image manipulation is complete, select colour or black and white, JPG or PNG format and set quality levels before downloading the image.
