Add Imagen to your creative workflow

Adobe Premier Pro Panel Integration

Adobe panels for Imagen

Add Imagen to your creative workflow and access your DAM approved assets and production files directly from Adobe Premiere Pro.

No more switching back and forth between your Imagen content management platform and Adobe Premiere Pro. The new integration keeps editors in their creative zone – saving valuable time for production teams in a time-pressured industry.

Connect to Imagen through Premiere Pro with your standard login details and start searching your entire media library.

Drop what you need straight into the edit; download low-res renditions to get started and Imagen will convert to high-resolution when you’re finished and ready to export.

automated delivery to your clients

Distribution Workflows

Imagen has always championed self-service; content owners can safely open up their media libraries to internal and external users so they can help themselves to as much content as they need – paid for or free.

In our latest update we’ve included ‘push’ delivery to support professional distribution – to broadcasters, OTT platforms, subscribing clients or other departments in your organisation to support your operational workflows. Set up any number of distribution targets with their FTP details and send individual files or a batch using predefined workflows for each recipient.

You can also set up notifications based on saved search criteria to automatically send content that matches the requirement – e.g. clips featuring a specific player or team, files from a specific location, or the latest content uploaded from a department in your organisation.

Quarantine incoming files

Review and Approval

Keeping track of incoming content from a range of sources can keep media managers on their toes – particularly if it’s coming from outside the organisation. That’s why we’ve added a streamlined review and approval process for busy administrators.

It starts with an Imagen Ingest workflow, which can be used to place content in quarantine before it’s made more widely available. Individuals who have been allocated the ‘approver’ role are notified of when new content hits the Imagen platform. They are then able to quickly approve or deny the addition of the new video, image, audio, or document file.

The system is highly configurable so any approved content can then take on a default set of access permissions – which could make it publicly available, or only to be seen by specific groups or individuals.

Automate descriptive metadata tags for Images

AI powered Image analysis

Complementing our full range of AI services for video, we’ve just added support for Images to help content owners automate the generation of descriptive metadata tags for fast and accurate searching of picture libraries. Content owners (and their clients) will be able to access the following services to ensure their images are catalogued and ready to find using simple keywords and phrases. The services include:

  • Face Detection
  • Label Detection
  • Landmark Detection
  • Localised Object Detection
  • Logo Detection
  • Safe Search Detection
  • Text Detection

Fast metadata import and bulk ingest tool

XML Record Importer

Managing large media libraries often starts with metadata. Our new XML import wizard gives you an easy way to convert data from legacy archives into new Imagen records or import a large batch of new content.

Tens – or even tens of thousands of Metadata records – can now be uploaded to Imagen via a handy drag and drop interface. New Imagen metadata records are created from the XML import file.

Use the mapping feature to choose which legacy field in your XML file maps to an Imagen metadata field – e.g: The Overview field in the XML maps to the Description field in your Imagen database.

If your XML file also contains a UNC path to the related content for each line of metadata, Imagen will also automatically bulk ingest your media for you – and you can even select the workflow to send it to.
