Moving towards a fairer, more ethical business environment – one (or two) steps at a time.
Imagen takes values seriously – not only your business values, but also our own. We want to do the right thing for our clients, staff, partners and for our planet.
Our vision is to “build the world’s smartest video management platform” and we want to do this in a way that is consistent with our values.
As a pragmatic way of encapsulating and measuring these values, Imagen has signed up to the Good Business Charter and become an accredited Living Wage Foundation Employer.
Imagen has signed up to the Good Business Charter, which recognises the importance of responsible business practices. The Charter measures behaviour over 10 components: real living wage, fairer hours and contracts, employee wellbeing, employee representation, diversity and inclusion, environmental responsibility, paying fair tax, commitment to customers, ethical sourcing, and prompt payment.
A company must meet commitments in each of these 10 areas to receive GBC accreditation – there are more than 1120 GBC members in the UK, now including Imagen.
The Living Wage foundation is an accredited commitment that every member of staff working for Imagen will earn a real Living Wage. This commitment applies to directly employed staff and also to our third party contracted staff. The real Living Wage is higher than the government’s minimum, or National Living Wage, and is an independently calculated hourly rate of pay that is based on the actual cost of living. Imagen joins more than 9,000 organisations which have signed up to the accreditation because we believe that a hard day’s work deserves a fair day’s pay.
Thank you for coming on this journey with Imagen, and let’s continue to strive to make things better.
