Leading video management company Imagen, today announced it has attained accredited certification with ISO/IEC 27001:2013 the international standard from the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC).
ISO/IEC 27001:2013 is a global security standard that sets out requirements for establishing, maintaining and continually improving an Information Security Management System.
Imagen takes information security seriously, and the achievement of the ISO certification further emphasises its commitment to data protection, delivering effective quality management systems, and driving continuous improvements to products, services, and internal processes.
With 20 years’ experience in storing and controlling access to classified and valuable video data, Imagen manages large collections of media for clients including Ministry of Defence, Premier League, BP, Press Association, IMG, ATP Media, British Library and many more.
The certification further supports existing data processes and specifications already adopted by Imagen – in particular ISO 9001:2008 certification, the internationally recognised standard for quality management which promotes the development of continual improvement, focus on customer satisfaction and traceability through the implementation of various management system processes.
