LONDON – February 17 2022 – Imagen, the leading rich media management platform today announced Tennis Australia are implementing Imagen. The platform will be used to store and distribute Tennis Australia’s event content enabling news and broadcast partners to get the content they need faster.
The project took 3 months to deploy, just in time for the Australian Open 2022, which started on January 17. The platform is already being used by more than 500 people across 80 different organisations. Licensees can now preview content, request access and benefit from fast downloads during tournaments by using Imagen’s Accelerated File Delivery. Imagen provides granular insight into user behaviour, enabling Tennis Australia to understand who is accessing and downloading their media, ultimately helping to inform their content strategy.
After the Australian Open, the governing body will be working with Imagen to digitise their archive so their vast amount of footage from tapes can be preserved for future generations.
“We’ve seen the work Imagen has done with the Association of Tennis Professionals and the Women’s Tennis Association so we were excited to deploy the platform for Tennis Australia. Getting the project off the ground so quickly is testament to the Imagen deployment team and we look forward to putting content in the hands of those who need it, faster. ” John O'Neil, Supervising Producer – Live Events, Tennis Australia
“We’re thrilled to be working with Tennis Australia, expanding our presence in Tennis and the APAC region. It’s an honour to be part of turning years of tennis history into something that can be used in the future.” Tom Wild, Senior Account Executive, Imagen
