London, UK – September 22 2021 – Screenocean Ltd., Imagen’s sister company and content marketplace, today announces a five-year extension to its representation of the Reuters Video Archive.
Starting in 2017, the partnership sees Imagen and Screenocean Ltd. host over 1.2 million clips from the one of the world’s, largest, and most renowned video archives. The archive includes complete video coverage of international news delivered 24/7 around the globe.
The renewal of this partnership enables continued access to over 100 years of Reuters’ content on the Screenocean platform, powered by Imagen. Screenocean Ltd. and its team of experienced researchers will continue to license content globally, including Reuters Pictures when accessed together with footage.
“We are delighted to continue our long-standing partnership with Screenocean to represent Reuters Video Archive and look forward to building on the success already achieved by their talented team.” Pauliina Hepola, Director Channel & Inside Sales, Reuters
“The Reuters archive is one of the world's greatest sources of news film. We are delighted to continue working with the collection. This extension gives us the momentum to continue exposing unseen material from local bureaus, to improve accessibility using Imagen’s technology, and above all to keep helping our clients find the best footage to tell their stories.” Ali Blake, Managing Director, Screenocean
